Potty Training

Toilet teaching or potty-training is an important developmental stage for toddlers that hinges on physical, developmental and behavioral milestones, not age. All children are different, so it is important to watch for signs of readiness and to remember that timing and patience are key during this process.

When parents feel their child is ready for potty-training, our staff is prepared and well trained to work with you and your child. Our team has worked with hundreds of families throughout the years in assisting with their children’s potty-training routine and schedules and we have been successful in helping children achieve this major milestone.

Parents know best when their child is ready but simple guidelines to follow are when toddlers:

  • Follow simple instructions
  • Understand words about the toileting process
  • Verbally express a need to go
  • Stop an activity and clutch his or her diaper
  • Keep a diaper dry for 2 hours or more
  • Pull down diapers or training pants
  • Walk to the toilet and want to sit on it
  • Show interest in using the toilet

If you experience any problems while training your child, please do not hesitate to let his or her teacher know, and we will be glad to provide all the support and help we can.
